These types of flow meters are designed under the license of KENT I.M. to measure the flow of both lubricating and non-lubricating liquids over a flow range of 0,4 m3/h to 5000 m3/h.
The meters offer good linearity (±0,25% or ±0,5% dependent on type) and excellent repeatability (±0,02% or ±0,1 % dependent on type) over wide flow ranges (typically 10:1) and are suitable for use over a wide operating pressure and temperature span. The meter output is a digital signal directly proportional to the flow rate in a convenient form for processing. Other general characteristics of the Energoinvest Turbine Meter are its small size and weight relative to the pipeline, high throughput for a given meter size and high reliability with minimal maintenance.
The only moving component in the meter is the rotor and the only component subject to wear is the bearing assembly. Special design principles eliminate thrust friction from the rotor thereby improving bearing life and flow meter range. On meters which use tungsten carbide as the bearing material there is a standard guarantee against wear for two years from the date of dispatch, providing that the meter is operated within the published specification.
